Signal Integrity
The foundation of any high-speed interface is signal integrity.  When signal integrity suffers, so does system performance and reliability.  Different types of noise and interference – including jitter, attenuation, and crosstalk – degrade signal quality, increasing the bit error rate (BER) and reducing the distance over which signals can be reliably transmitted.  Pericom’s industry-leading signal conditioning technology maintains signal quality over longer distances and in the presence of more environmental noise.  The result is higher reliability, greater layout flexibility, and lower system cost through the ability to use less expensive PCB materials.
