HOURS:  Depending on the course, either block release at college or 1 day release at college or University. Diodes office hours are 8.15am-4.30pm

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIPS:

Depending on the course, for the duration of this 3–5-year development programme you will be working within Diodes, applying your learning and gaining experience from highly skilled colleagues. Whilst studying towards your formal qualification you will be given allocated weekly study time whilst in the workplace. You will also be provided with additional support from a dedicated mentor and your Line Manager, along with support from HR and Upturn. 

 

Requirements:

All applicants would be expected or predicted to have minimum level 4 or above in in Maths, English Language and Science.

 

For the degree apprenticeship

  • 96 UCAS points. University of Bolton accept a full range of qualifications that carry UCAS points, including A-levels, BTECs and T levels
  • An applicant's Level 3 subjects must include a mathematical-based subject and a science, technology or engineering-related subject; for instance, A-level Mathematics and Physics or BTEC 90-credit Diploma in Engineering.
  • Five GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent), including English, Mathematics and a science, technology or engineering-related subject.

 The successful Apprentices will have an enthusiastic approach to and a genuine interest in Engineering, Electronics and Mechanical systems and be willing to work and study hard. In return, candidates will be offered a competitive salary package, including 33 days holiday, inclusive of statutory bank holidays, cycle to work scheme, free car parking and a pension scheme.
