Diodes Incorporated Celebrates 2014 Globally with its Distributor and Sales Channel Partner Awards

Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic and analog semiconductor markets, recently presented distribution awards in all its sales regions in recognition of their distributors' achievements. These acknowledge the importance of channel partners in gaining market share and increasing Diodes' business. Distribution accounts for greater than 60% of sales and increased levels of partnership are vital to allow global sales to continue to grow across the entire Diodes' portfolio.

Mark King, Diodes Incorporated's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing said, "The success of our distributors in all regions and countries can be attributed to having technically competent and well-motivated Sales Teams, who are effectively executing the Diodes sales and product strategy."

"Global Distributor of the Year" was awarded to Future Electronics while Mouser picked up "Highest Sales Growth" and Rutronik won "European Distributor of the Year". Recognizing an important segment of its business, Diodes awarded Avnet Silica with "Power Component Distributor of the Year".

In Asia, awards were given to distributors who had made the "Most Contribution" to Diodes' business in their specific country: Kingsun and Future Electronics Inc. in China, Zenitron in Taiwan, and Lite-On in Japan. "Outstanding Design-In" awards were also given: PACE and Powerking in China, Jyharn, ChainPower Technology, and Alltek Technology Corp. in Taiwan, and KPOS in Korea.
